held a recent contest to see which area high school could collect the most pennies to benefit the Denver Rescue Mission. The winning school won the KYGO School Spirit Award and an appearance by Big Machine artist Taylor Swift. The nine schools brought in a total of 932,122 pennies and Taylor contributed what was needed to make it to 1,000,000 pennies or $10,000.
